Campus Based Clubs and Activities

Our campus has several campus-based clubs and activities for our students.  Our teachers facilitate extra-curricular activities such as:

 

Arts and Crafts (Play Dough, Crafts using craft sticks, pom poms, pipe cleaners, etc.)

Coloring and Art  (Coloring using crayons, markers, and paint)

Mentorships (Designed to assist students build their self esteem)

Science (Science Projects and Information)

Leadership (Students are leading community service projects, the FLAG program, and several other duties around the school): Sponsor (Ms. Hollins)

Folklorico/Ballet: Sponsor (Ms. Tusing)

Dance 

Cheer (Ms. Minor does a phenomenal job working with our cheerleaders)

Gardening (Ms. Rivera does a great job leading the efforts to have a functioning school and upcoming community garden): Sponsor (Ms. Rivera)

Basketball (Coach Bovain and Coach Smith lead our boys and girls basketball teams)

Novel Book Studies (Students are able to read and discuss books and novels)

Soccer: Sponsor (Ms. Lopez)  We have a boys and girls soccer team.

F.L.A.G.: Sponsor (Ms. Hollins).  Students are responsible for raising and lowering the flag.

Cheerleading: Sponsor (Ms. Galindo):  Our cheerleading team this year is for our K-2nd grade girls.
